Padre Pio by Angela Ciccone

Angela Ciccone was born in Puglia (Italy), in San Giovanni Rotondo, in 1963, where she began to cultivate a passion for art.

She studied in Florence in the village of San Frediano, at the Chambers' Cecil - Graves, a private academy headed by foreigners from around the world. A key feature of the school is the teaching of the ancient techniques of  the '600s such as colours prepared by hand.

After studying she participated in numerous exhibitions in major Italian cities as well as one-man exhibitions: Florence, Cesenatico, Osimo (first prize), Salerno, Foggia, Milan, Bologna, Pizzo Calabro, Rome, Barletta (De Nittis contest) and San Giovanni Rotondo.

Having accumulated experience of art, the painter chose to return to her hometown, known worldwide as the city of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina, to continue to successfully pursue her artistic journey, in fact, today many of her works are in important private collections .
